The Universe speaks to you through Symbols

Dream interpretation is only one way to work with symbols. In actuality there are symbols present everyday. A couple told me that they were looking to buy a piece of ground in anticipation of building a new home. As they walked the property, a hawk flew overhead and dropped a feather at their feet. This was a sign to them and they knew that this was their land. They purchased it. The hawk was a sign of transformation and they were standing on open land with lots of trees and water. Living there would certainly offer communion with nature and transformation.
Another person had two accidents within a week while driving to work. He began to look at his attitude about his job and realized he did not want to be there. He did not enjoy what he was doing; it was not a true expression of who he was. Thus he proceeded to look for other employment, something that reflected his values. With the intention of being emotionally and spiritually aligned with his work, he found a job that suited who he was. Since then there has been clear sailing as he drove to work.
There are symbols everywhere. The Universe is always talking to you. Are you paying attention?

Dreams contain clues as to your spiritual growth

Here is a one of my current dreams: My minister and her husband (represents Higher Mind, Spirituality, Abundance) are digging out a swimming pool in my backyard. (Swimming pool signifies a contained, conscious experience). Then there is some confusion about putting another room on my house. (Enlarging my consciousness -- expanding the way I think). The female thinks this is a good idea and is working on it and the male thinks it is not necessary. Have you had a dream using any of these symbols? If so, lets find out what they mean.
The minister and her husband (who is also a minister) represent my Higher Mind and/or higher thinking that relates to abundance. In that they are placing a swimming pool in my yard, there is a new very specific, contained conscious exerience for me regarding abundance and spirituality. Further into the dream the feminine aspect (Higher Mind receptivity) thinks adding more space in the house (adding a room) is a good idea and the Higher Mind masculine aspect (activity, doingness) thinks it is unnecessary. There is much busyness about this new addition. This means that "spiritual abundance consciousness is in place in my mind and it can be added to or it is okay as it stands. There is really no need for more activity. I have been quite busy applying these abundance principles in my life. I have expanded myself in doing so and there is no need for physical activity along these lines.
As the dreamer, I am to examine my physical life to ascertain what I am thinking and doing that relates to this new experience and this dream. This dreams refers to my study of Eckhart Tolle's book, A New Earth. More specifically it represents my practice of the principles in that book. Clearly, it is a commentary on the practices of staying in the Now, living in the Presence of God, and becoming the observer. All of these practices get me in touch with my divinity and help me to be at peace and grounded. Can you relate to any of this?
Is there anything I need to do? Not really. The dream is a statement of where I am in my evolution, just as your dreams are telling you about your progression.

Symbolism exists in your everyday life as well as your dreams. Today I talked to a client who has dozens of Praying Mantis in her yard. In the book, Animal-Speak: the spiritual and magical powers of creatures great and small by Ted andrews, the author describes the symbolic meaning of various animals, insects and birds that show up in life.
Praying Mantis indicate the "power of stillness." This individual practices meditation and knows the power of meditation to connect her to her Source Energy,as well as providing guidance and direction. Then on a trip north to her family homestead, there were dozens of hawks flying overhead. Hawks represent "visionary power and guardianship." Furthermore birds are considered messengers. She took from this that she was watched over and being guided. As long as she kept her place of stillness within, the guidance would come through to her. This was an effective methodology for her. Another female client had a dream of a small female child standing on a bridge. The child waited for her to take her hand and walk her across the bridge. She did this. The bridge represents a transition (from one side to the other), bridging something. The child represented a NEW WAY in life. The dream communicated to her that she had, in deed, made a decision to bring a child into her life and she was crossing the bridge to a new beginning by doing that. In other words, she was beginning a new life. So there you have it. Dreams can bring depth of understanding to your swareness and corroborate where you are in your development.

Do you REALLY want to know what your dreams are saying?

Some new dreams symbols to add to your book.
My house is surrounded by Army patrols. Two of them with black paint under the eyes are looking in my upstairs bedroom window. They weren’t scary to me. They were annoying. “Get out of here,” I am thinking.
My friend says he will stay with me. He represents STRENGTH to me. Thus I am feeling relieved and stronger. When I go outside there is all kinds of Army equipment, like they are readying for a war. It is also in my neighbor’s yard and I am yelling at them to get this stuff out of here.
This dream is speaking of the dreamer’s feeling of readiness to go to battle. The battle is whatever it is she is battling. The dream is also stating that she has strength. There is resistance to having to stage up for the battle. She finds the whole practice to be annoying. There is something in her that doesn’t believe this is necessary. This dreamer is very into spiritual practice and relays her annoyance with all the media hype over the economy etc. .
In her estimation, she admits, I have too much drama in my thinking. At the same time, she knows a new way (represented by the baby). Yes, there is progress and that is about it for dreams for today. Sweet dreams to all of you! If you have a dream that need interpreting, let me know. Thanks! Jean
Note: Many people consider dreams frivolous and crazy. That is because they don't know the "dream" language. Fortunately for Joseph of the Technicolor dream coat genre the Egyptian Pharaoh believed dreams were important. Thus he employed David to interpret his dreams which proved to have far reaching implications for these interpretations allowed him to prepare for a seven year famine. Because of his foresight, he was able to save his people from disaster. We may not be facing such a threat. Yet we have our own dilemmas and dreams can be instrumental in preparing us to make necessary changes to transform our lives.
On my website: www.spiritualtransformation.com there is a place to register your dreams and receive a proper interpretation. Feel free to go there for the insight you desire. The interesting thing about dreams is "they never lie." Thus your dreams are a commentary on your thinking and your life and they say it like it is. They are forthright, honest, objective and non-judgmental.
Do you have a strange dream that you want interpreted? I will do it for you. Go to www.spiritualtransformation.com and click on "dream interpretation." Follow the prompts. Thanks! Jean Walters

Dream Interpretation -- Your dreams are not as mysterious as you think!

Another dream to interpret: In this dream the dreamer is walking down a narrow path through a field in farm country. The path seemed endless and there were straight rows of crops going on forever on both sides of the path. I don't know where the path is leading nor do I ask the question.
I begin to feel insect stings on my legs. They hurt. The insent is large like a grasshopper, beetle and night butterfly combined. When I pull it off it leaves a mark.
This dream indicates that the dreamer is walking a straight path in her life. It is narrow which represents the idea that there are disciplines required to be on this path. In the Bible there is reference to walking a narrow path to God. In effect, that is what this person is doing. Her disciplines and desires are indicative of her movement to growth. The endless field and rows of crops also signify growth.
The stings that occur on her legs reflect the awarenss that come to her that seems to sting her movement (legs). Yet she continues on.
This dream has been sent in from a person who is dedicated to her spiritual path. Thank you, we can all learn from the symbols in your dream.

Your dreams tell everything about YOU!

Here are more dream symbols...
A client of mine told me about a dream she had when she first came in to see me. She has a lot of tornado dreams which relate her obsession with chaotic (fear) thoughts and conflict. In her dream she is on the top floor of a tall building which has windows looking out over vast terrain. A tornado is coming in.
Clearly she is feeling dange as her chaotic (fear) thoughts are getting the best of her. She can see her conflict clearly but feels powerless in managing it. (This relates to her seeming inability to manage her thoughts. In other words, she lets fear run off with her. It controls her thinking.) Of course she feels in danger, she is at the top of a building (consciousness) with glass all around. (Her vision is great; she can see where she is and what is happening.) That is the good news, that she can see her conflict clearly.
Next dream occurred after she had been in to see me a few times. She was growing and her dream attests to that. In this dream she was at the bottom of a large building in an area that was concrete and very stable. She was holding a baby which represents a new idea or a new way in life. They were very safe. She was also observing a tornado approach the building. Please take note that she had her NEW WAY in hand and they were both safe and sound. In this dream she was not so afraid but still observing chaos (tornado). In her estimation, she admits, I have too much drama in my thinking. At the same time, she knows a new way (represented by the baby). Yes, there is progress. And that is about it for dreams for today. Sweet dreams to you. Jean Walters

More on Dreamsl...

Here is another dream.... "I was at a sea side... large rocks and cliffs. The water was calm and clear. I could see the bottom. My son wanted to go in the water. I kept calling to him not to do that as he could not swim and did not have his life jacket. He finally turned back and went away. As he went up and away from the water, I turned and saw that on one of the large wet rocks was my friend's five year old daughter who plays with my son often. She was trying tot ouch the water and I was scared she would fall into the water. I kept calling to her and asking ther to stop and wait for me. She did not hear me. Then she fell into the water. When I finally got close enough I jumped intothe water and swam toward her. She started to sink again just as I was within an arm's reach of her. At that point, the water was clouded with san dust. I was trying to grab her with my arms and finally connected and I pulled her out and onto the rock from which she fell. I felt wet and relieved when she started to cough.
This dream reflects the dreamer's life experience. She is female. Thus her son represents her developing subconscious self and the little girl represents are developing conscious self. In her life, she is at a peaceful place. Yet she has the perception of large obstacles (rocks). She also has clarity (water is clear). A part of her developing subconscious self appears in jeopardy (son). But it is ultimately safe.
The little girl is her conscious self and it appears to be in danger. (She is trying to rescue herself.) As she does that, circumstances seem clouded (sandy water). She ultimately is able to save herself.
This dreamer needs to look at her experience the day before the dream and match her feelings of fear and relief to what was going on then. At that point she will have a clearer idea of what part of her life the dream is referring to. The bottom line is that even though her life appears beautiful and calm, there appears to be a threat. She is able to manage the obstacles and be safe, but not without consternation and stress. My question to the dreamer is this: How much does fear and anticipation of calamity control your thinking and therefore your life?
Blessings!!

Dreams... what does it mean when...??

More on dreams and visions. A client asked me about recurring dreams "of various situations and places in which my husband is unfaithful and in which he tells me that he just needs another person in addition to our family. There absolutely is no real reasonor grounds for these dreams, but when they do ahappen I wake up upset and angry andmost times cry for a large part of that day."
"I am pretty sure this is something I have to deal with inside myself, but cannot figure out what. Do you have suggestions?"
Yes, I do. Since this is a female dreamer, her husband represents her subconscious mind. Thus the dream is indicating that she is not being faithful to her desires. On a subconsicous level she is believing that she needs something more... something in addition to her family.
She may be right. Most likely she has desires that are unfulfilled. My suggestion is to look back on the day before she had this dream last and see if what she occupied herself with jelled with what she really wants in life. Was it fulfilling enough for her?
This dreamer is correct in that the dream is about her and not her husband. What she needs to do is to figure out how she is not being true to herself and her desires.

On dreams and visions...

Buckminster Fuller once commented that "the Universe is talking to us all the time and we must learn to listen." He is right, It is talking to us all the time. It talks to us in symbols and in dreams. As we become "observant" of our lives we note an energy in and around us ever present. This Energy is Spirit. When we listen with our heart and intuition or "gut feeling" we sense the action and direction we are to take.
It speaks to us in our dreams. Here is an example: A client recently told me of a dream where she was peering into a cellar where there were dozens of animals of all variety -- birds, rabbits, dogs, groundhogs, woodchucks, etc. They had been there for a month and many were dead. At first she didn't want to deal with the issue at all. "Someone else would take care of it." Then, she realized no one would take care of it and she had to save the animals that were still living.
The cellar was a place where she buried her issues. This is true for all of us -- we can't see them, they are stored -- out of sight, out of mind. The animals represent her innate nature -- her intuition, her feeling state, the Inner Guidance. She had put all this aside, she stored it, ignored it. The animals (her intutive state) seemed to be uncared for and buried. But recently she decided that she wanted to pay attention to her feelings and let her intutitive voice be her guide. Thus she had to "unbury" her feelings, face them, and nurture them. This was her entering the cellar to save the animals that were left. The dreams was describing her current state of consciousness and her needed action. The Universe was talking to her through her dreams.
The same client would regularly see hawks circling in the sky. Some would pass right in front of her as if to say, "See me, I am communicating with you."
In the Animal Speak book (by Ted Andrews) it states that Hawks symbolize that the Great Spirit (or the Universe) is communicating to "awaken her vision and inspiration to a creative life purpose."
All this fits of course as she has a vision that she has put on hold and the dream seemed to tell her to bring it out of hiding and pursue it.
Thus it is with all of us. We all have dreams and visions and we all are being guided by the Universe to pay attention. "Pay attention and I will guide you with symbols and dreams."
Are you payng attention?
